Colorado High School Basketball - Jefferson Academy nudges Kent Denver
February 23, 2012: Broomfield, CO 80021 Jefferson Academy Jaguars (Broomfield, CO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Kent Denver Sun Devils (Englewood, CO), 50-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jefferson Academy upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Faith Christian (Arvada, CO) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 25. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 19-2. Faith Christian won 59-37 in their recent non-league bout against Holy Family (Broomfield, CO)
Next up, the Sun Devils encounter the Holy Family Tigers (Broomfield, CO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 25. Kent Denver will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-8 record after their 59-37 non-league loss to Faith Christian (Arvada, CO).
