April 20, 2012: Sumiton, AL 35148 The Sumiton Christian Eagles routed the visiting Pelham Panthers softball squad by a count of 6-0 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Eagles (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Vestavia Hills (Vestavia Hills, AL). The Rebels go into the non-league battle with a 21-2 record. In their last battle, Vestavia Hills nudged American Christian Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Panthers now sport a 33-7 record. They play next when they travel to Prattville for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 21. Pelham will meet a Lions squad coming off a 7-3 league win over Wetumpka (Wetumpka, AL). The Lions record now stands at 7-6.
