The Belpre Golden Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Wahama Falcons to 48 in the Golden Eagles league triumph on Monday.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Belpre will battle a Titans team coming off a 56-48 non-league win over Ironton (Ironton, OH). The Titans record now stands at 21-0.

The Falcons (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hannan (Ashton, WV). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Hannan was defeated by Scott (Madison, WV), 43-31, in a non-league contest.
