California High School Basketball - Monte Vista Christian prevails Pacific Collegiate
December 7, 2011: Watsonville, CA 95076 Monte Vista Christian Mustangs (Watsonville, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pacific Collegiate Pumas (Santa Cruz, CA), 53-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Monte Vista Christian upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Valley Christian (San Jose, CA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Valley Christian lost 53-51 in their recent non-league bout against Palo Alto (Palo Alto, CA)
Next up, the Pumas play the Eastside College Prep Panthers (East Palo Alto, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Pacific Collegiate will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 59-32 non-league win over Alma Heights Christian Academy (Pacifica, CA).
