California High School Basketball - Mater Dei trounces Jordan
January 7, 2012: Santa Ana, CA 92707 The Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Jordan Panthers (Long Beach, CA), 90-12 in Saturday's non-league contest.
The Monarchs now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orange Lutheran for a Trinity contest on Monday, January 9. Mater Dei will confront a Lancers team coming off a 60-38 league win over Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 10-6.
The Panthers (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA). The Jaguars enter the Moore contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Cabrillo trounced St. Matthias (Downey, CA), 37-30, in a non-league contest.
