The Mercer Mustangs (Mercer, PA) basketball nipped the host Cochranton Cardinals (Cochranton, PA), 51-45 in Monday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA). The Blue Devils go into the District 10 Region 2 test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Sharpsville was tipped by Greenville (Greenville, PA), 74-26, in a league test.
