California High School Basketball - Portola overwhelmed by Biggs

January 8, 2019: Portola, CA 96122

The Biggs Wolverines basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Portola Tigers to 47 in the Wolverines league victory on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colusa for a non-league contest on Monday, January 14. Biggs will battle a RedHawks team coming off a 45-26 league win over Pierce (Arbuckle, CA). The RedHawks record now stands at 11-8.

The Tigers (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Esparto (Esparto, CA). The Spartans come into the Mountain Valley contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Esparto triumphed over CORE Butte (Chico, CA), 46-23, in a league contest.
