Minneapolis North Polars (Minneapolis, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Minneapolis South Tigers (Minneapolis, MN), 95-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Minneapolis North upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Polars travel to North Lawndale (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Phoenix in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Phoenix go into the bout with a record of 12-3.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Jordan Hubmen/Jaguars/Panthers (Jordan, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Minneapolis South will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Hubmen/Jaguars/Panthers go into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 85-55 non-league loss to Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN).
