California High School Softball - King nudges Roosevelt
May 10, 2011: Riverside, CA 92508 King Wolves (Riverside, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Roosevelt Mustangs (Corona, CA), 1-0 in a league challenge.
The Wolves now own a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to JW North for a Big VIII game on Thursday, May 12. King will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 23-0 league loss to Santiago (Corona, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 3-23.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Centennial Huskies (Corona, CA) in a Big VIII game, on Thursday, May 12. Roosevelt will attempt to move on its 12-15 season record. The Huskies come into the game with a 10-13 record after their 5-1 league loss to Corona (Corona, CA).
