The Conard Chieftains ice hockey squad scored 5 points and restricted the host New Milford Green Wave to 3 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Wednesday.

With the victory, Conard moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Simsbury (Simsbury, CT) to face the Trojans in a Central Connecticut - North contest on Friday, December 30. The Trojans go into the contest with a record of 1-2. Simsbury lost 5-3 in their recent league contest against Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT)

The Green Wave now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Windsor for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. New Milford will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to East Catholic (Manchester, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-3.
