New York High School Basketball - Ticonderoga over Peru
January 31, 2017: Ticonderoga, NY 12883 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ticonderoga Sentinels (Ticonderoga, NY) and the visiting Peru Indians (Peru, NY), saw Ticonderoga's basketball squad overcome Peru by a tally of 61-48.
With the victory, Ticonderoga improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Sentinels host Moriah (Port Henry, NY) to confront the Vikings in a Section 7 Division II challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 15-1. Moriah won 74-47 in their recent league challenge against Saranac (Saranac, NY)
Next up, the Indians confront the Saranac Chiefs (Saranac, NY) in a Section 7 Division I challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Peru will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 74-47 league loss to Moriah (Port Henry, NY).
