The Central Grizzlies topped the visiting Sylmar Spartans basketball team by a final score of 70-57 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Grizzlies face the Sitka Wolves (Sitka, AK) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, December 30. Central will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Wolves come into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 62-55 non-league loss to Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA).

The Spartans (2-11) will now prepare for their battle against Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA). The Cougars come into the Valley Mission battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Kennedy prevailed over Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA), 54-51, in a non-league battle.
