Illinois High School Basketball - Hersey holds off Grayslake Central
February 14, 2018: Arlington Heights, IL 60004 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL) and the visiting Grayslake Central Rams (Grayslake, IL), saw Hersey's basketball squad hold off Grayslake Central by a tally of 45-44.
With the victory, Hersey improves its record to 8-16 on the campaign. The Huskies host Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL) to confront the Mustangs in a Mid-Suburban - East challenge on Saturday, February 17. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 13-11. Rolling Meadows won 64-60 in their recent non-league challenge against Maine East (Park Ridge, IL)
Next up, the Rams confront the Grayslake North Knights (Grayslake, IL) in a Northern Lake County challenge, on Saturday, February 17. Grayslake Central will attempt to improve on its 9-15 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 11-13 record after their 61-58 non-league win over Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL).
