The East Poinsett County Warriors basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Brinkley Tigers to 57 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Earle for a non-league match on Friday, February 24. East Poinsett County will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 73-41 non-league win over Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-5.

With the defeat, Brinkley moves to 17-9 on the year.
