Florida High School Basketball - St. Petersburg tipped by East Lake
November 30, 2018: Tarpon Springs, FL 34688 The East Lake Eagles basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting St. Petersburg Green Devils to 42 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cypress Creek for a non-league contest on Monday, December 3. East Lake will meet a Coyotes team coming off a 55-14 league loss to Tampa Catholic (Tampa, FL). The Coyotes record now stands at 0-3.
The Green Devils (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Dixie Hollins (St. Petersburg, FL). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Dixie Hollins was nudged by Boca Ciega (Gulfport, FL), 55-19, in a non-league contest.
