Texas High School Football - Ysleta held off by Mountain View
October 20, 2006: El Paso, TX 79938 Mountain View Lobos (El Paso, TX) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they observed their football squad hold off the visiting Ysleta Indians (El Paso, TX), 20-16 in a league challenge.
The Lobos now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Horizon for a 4A Region I District 2 challenge on Friday, October 27. Mountain View will confront a Scorpions squad coming off a 21-14 league loss to Riverside (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 4-3.
With the defeat, Ysleta moves to 2-5 on the campaign. The Indians host Canutillo (Canutillo, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 2 challenge on Thursday, October 26. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Canutillo lost 17-13 in their recent league challenge against Parkland (El Paso, TX)
