Texas High School Basketball - Boerne holds off Del Rio
December 29, 2017: Boerne, TX 78006 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX) and the visiting Del Rio Rams (Del Rio, TX), saw Boerne's basketball squad hold off Del Rio by a tally of 54-47.
With the victory, Boerne improves its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Lake View (San Angelo, TX) to confront the Chiefs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Lake View lost 59-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Uvalde (Uvalde, TX)
Next up, the Rams confront the South San Antonio Bobcats (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Del Rio will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 46-45 non-league loss to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial (Alamo, TX).
