California High School Basketball - Charter Oak fells Vista Murrieta
December 28, 2009: Covina, CA 91723 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Charter Oak Chargers (Covina, CA) and the visiting Vista Murrieta Broncos (Murrieta, CA), saw Charter Oak's basketball squad overcome Vista Murrieta by a count of 62-47.
With the victory, Charter Oak upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Chargers host Rowland (Rowland Heights, CA) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 4. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Rowland won 59-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Los Altos (Hacienda Heights, CA)
Next up, the Broncos play the Trabuco Hills Mustangs (Mission Viejo, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 29. Vista Murrieta will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 51-49 non-league loss to West Ranch (Valencia, CA).
