South Dakota High School Basketball - O'Gorman tops Riggs
January 7, 2017: Pierre, SD 57501 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the O'Gorman Knights (Sioux Falls, SD) and the host Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD), saw O'Gorman's basketball squad knock off Riggs by a count of 65-52.
With the victory, O'Gorman upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Washington (Sioux Falls, SD) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Washington won 58-55 in their recent non-league challenge against Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD)
Next up, the Governors play the Huron Tigers (Huron, SD) in a AA District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Riggs will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 67-62 non-league win over Brookings (Brookings, SD).
