Coon Rapids Cardinals (Coon Rapids, MN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Elk River Elks (Elk River, MN), 8-6 in a league test.

With the win, Coon Rapids upgrades its record to 11-3 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Centennial (Circle Pines, MN) to battle the Cougars in a Northwest Suburban test on Thursday, May 12.
