In Thursday's non-league outing, the Deer Valley Skyhawks (Glendale, AZ) basketball squad edged the host Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ), by a margin of 54-52.

The Skyhawks (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Apollo (Glendale, AZ). The Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, Apollo held off McClintock (Tempe, AZ), 68-30, in a league outing.

The Trojans now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Notre Dame Prep for a 5A Northeast Valley outing on Friday, December 15. Paradise Valley will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 41-26 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ). The Saints record now stands at 5-6.
