The Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX) football edged the host Big Spring Steers (Big Spring, TX), 21-14 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Coronado Mustangs (Lubbock, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 30. Andrews will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 4-0 record after their 34-19 non-league win over Randall (Amarillo, TX).

The Steers (0-4) will now prepare for their bout against Graham (Graham, TX). The Steers enter the non-league bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Graham was nudged by Stephenville (Stephenville, TX), 55-28, in a non-league bout.
