In Saturday's non-league outing, the Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) basketball squad edged the visiting Brookville Bees (Lynchburg, VA), by a count of 48-45.

The Knights (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Blue Demons go into the River Ridge outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Christiansburg was tipped by Byrd (Vinton, VA), 65-63, in a non-league outing.
