The Rio Mesa Spartans held off the host Notre Dame Knights volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Spartans now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chaminade for a non-league test on Saturday, March 3. Rio Mesa will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Burroughs (Burbank, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
