Steward (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Fuqua Falcons (Farmville, VA), 38-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Steward upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The travel to Covenant (Charlottesville, VA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Covenant won 67-57 in their recent non-league bout against Seton (Manassas, VA)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Carlisle Chiefs (Martinsville, VA) in a VISAA Division 3 bout, on Friday, January 27. Fuqua will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Chiefs go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 33-27 non-league win over Greensboro Day (Greensboro, NC).
