The Alief Elsik Rams basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Cypress Ranch Mustangs to 44 in the Rams non-league victory on Thursday.

The Rams now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Bend Hightower for a 6A Region III District 23 contest on Monday, December 14. Alief Elsik will battle a Hurricanes team coming off a 50-49 non-league win over Fort Bend Marshall (Missouri City, TX). The Hurricanes record now stands at 10-3.

The Mustangs (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cy-Ridge (Houston, TX). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Cy-Ridge overcame Tompkins (Katy, TX), 71-65, in a non-league match.
