Arizona High School Football - Ironwood Ridge topples Sahuaro

September 25, 2015: Tucson, AZ 85742

The Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ) football defeated the visiting Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ), 28-17 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Nighthawks face the Canyon del Oro Dorados (Tucson, AZ) in a II Section III bout, on Friday, October 2. Ironwood Ridge will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Dorados enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 34-13 non-league win over Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ).

The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Cienega (Vail, AZ). The Bobcats enter the II Section I bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Cienega was toppled by Mountain View (Tucson, AZ), 49-30, in a non-league bout.
