March 24, 2018: West Columbia, SC 29170 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Airport Eagles soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Lugoff-Elgin Demons.
The Eagles (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Providence Athletic Club (Lexington, SC). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Providence Athletic Club was nudged by Hammond (Columbia, SC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Demons (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lakewood (Sumter, SC). The Gators come into the AAAA Region VI battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Lakewood nudged Crestwood (Sumter, SC), 6-2, in a league battle.
