Georgia High School Football - Cherokee Bluff felled by Lumpkin County
October 5, 2018: Flowery Branch, GA In Friday's league game, the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) football team were victorious over the host Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA), by a score of 42-19.
The Indians (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA). The Spartans come into the AAA Region 7 game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, Greater Atlanta Christian knocked off Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA), 23-20, in a league game.
The now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Hall for a AAA Region 7 game on Friday, October 12. Cherokee Bluff will battle a Vikings team coming off a 59-36 league loss to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-6.
