Oregon High School Volleyball - Wilsonville nudged by Valley Catholic
September 24, 2011: Beaverton, OR 97007 The Valley Catholic Valiants volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Wilsonville Wildcats to 1 in the Valiants non-league victory on Saturday.
The Valiants now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Portland Adventist Academy for a 3A Lewis & Clark game on Monday, September 26. Valley Catholic will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Vernonia (Vernonia, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.
The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Putnam (Milwaukie, OR). The Kingsmen come into the 5A Northwest Oregon battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Putnam was edged by Union (Vancouver, WA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
