New Jersey High School Basketball - Governor Livingston fells North Plainfield
December 29, 2010: Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ) and the visiting North Plainfield Canucks (North Plainfield, NJ), saw Governor Livingston's basketball squad overcome North Plainfield by a count of 56-41.
With the victory, Governor Livingston upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Hillside (Hillside, NJ) to play the Comets in a Mountain Valley - Mountain challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Hillside lost 55-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Highland Park (Highland Park, NJ)
Next up, the Canucks play the Phillipsburg Stateliners (Phillipsburg, NJ) in a Skyland - Raritan challenge, on Tuesday, January 4. North Plainfield will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Stateliners come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 66-42 non-league win over Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA).
