The Mustangs (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hightower (Missouri City, TX). The Hurricanes come into the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Hightower went down by Alief Taylor (Houston, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Dragons encounter the Houston Christian Mustangs (Houston, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 20. Cooper will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lamar (Houston, TX).
