The Emery Spartans (Emeryville, CA) basketball nipped the visiting North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA), 41-37 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Oakland (Oakland, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record.
