March 21, 2016: Pana, IL 62557 The Meridian Hawks softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Pana Panthers to 1 in the Hawks league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Meridian moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Hawks host Monticello (Monticello, IL) to clash with the Sages in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 23. The Sages come into the game with a record of 2-2. Monticello lost 14-0 in their recent non-league game against Tuscola (Tuscola, IL)
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Beecher City Eagles (Beecher City, IL) in a game, on Tuesday, March 22. Pana will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
