With the win, Soldotna upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Stars travel to Bartlett (Anchorage, AK) to encounter the Golden Bears in a non-league outing on Friday, September 1. The Golden Bears go into the outing with a record of 1-2. Bartlett won 56-21 in their recent league outing against Juneau-Douglas/Thunder Mountain (Juneau, AK)
