Arkansas High School Football - Glen Rose topples Mayflower
September 16, 2011: Malvern, AR 72104 The Glen Rose Beavers (Malvern, AR) football defeated the visiting Mayflower Eagles (Mayflower, AR), 31-13 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Beavers face the Harmony Grove Cardinals (Benton, AR) in a 3A Region 5 bout, on Friday, September 23. Glen Rose will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 2-1 record after their 20-14 non-league win over Episcopal (Little Rock, AR).
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Riverview (Searcy, AR). The Raiders enter the 3A Region 2 bout with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Riverview was dropped by Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR), 8-0, in a non-league game.
