North Carolina High School Basketball - Cape Fear overwhelmed by Seventy-First
December 15, 2015: Fayetteville, NC 28312 The Seventy-First Falcons basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Cape Fear Colts to 54 in the Falcons league victory on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jack Britt for a non-league contest on Monday, December 21. Seventy-First will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 49-36 non-league win over Scotland (Laurinburg, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-6.
The Colts (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans come into the Mid-South 4A contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Pine Forest was routed by Hoke County (Raeford, NC), 53-43, in a non-league contest.
