Monterey Wolves (Monterey, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Converse Wildcats (Converse, LA), 64-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Monterey upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Wolves travel to Quitman (Quitman, LA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Monday, February 21. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 15-11. Quitman won 57-36 in their recent non-league bout against Avoyelles Charter (Mansura, LA)
