Ohio High School Basketball - South Urban Academy holds off Berne Union
December 23, 2008: Sugar Grove, OH 43155 South Urban Academy Bulldogs (Columbus, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Berne Union Rockets (Sugar Grove, OH), 47-45 in a non-league bout.
With the win, South Urban Academy upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Olentangy Orange (Lewis Center, OH) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 30. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Olentangy Orange won 71-42 in their recent league bout against Watkins Memorial (Pataskala, OH)
Next up, the Rockets play the Nelsonville-York Buckeyes (Nelsonville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 29. Berne Union will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
