In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting New Hope Trojans basketball team scored a decisive 88-59 triumph over the Canton Tigers.

In their next game, the Trojans meet the Center Hill Mustangs (Olive Branch, MS) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 28. New Hope will attempt to better on its 21-7 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 18-12 record after their 81-58 league win over Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS).
