Oregon High School Basketball - Grants Pass holds off Marshfield
December 17, 2013: Grants Pass, OR 97526 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR) and the visiting Marshfield Pirates (Coos Bay, OR), saw Grants Pass's basketball squad hold off Marshfield by a tally of 50-46.
With the victory, Grants Pass improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Cavemen host Willamette (Eugene, OR) to battle the Wolverines in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 19. The Wolverines come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Willamette lost 64-45 in their recent non-league battle against West Albany (Albany, OR)
The Pirates (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Bend/Oregon Coast Tech (North Bend, OR). The Bulldogs come into the 4A Far West battle with a 2-1 record.
