California High School Basketball - Prospect holds off Monta Vista
December 7, 2017: Cupertino, CA 95014 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA) and the host Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA), saw Prospect's basketball squad hold off Monta Vista by a tally of 54-48.
With the victory, Prospect improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Mills (Millbrae, CA) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 8. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Mills won 53-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA)
Next up, the Matadors confront the Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Monta Vista will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 53-20 non-league loss to Mills (Millbrae, CA).
