Oregon High School Volleyball - Umpqua Valley Christian nudged by Tulelake
September 24, 2011: Roseburg, OR 97470 The Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs volleyball team (Roseburg, OR), was nudged 1-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Tulelake Honkers (Tulelake, CA)
The Honkers (4-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Surprise Valley (Cedarville, CA). The Hornets enter the Evergreen challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Surprise Valley was nudged by Paisley (Paisley, OR), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Monarchs now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Elkton for a 1A Skyline bout on Tuesday, September 27. Umpqua Valley Christian will play a Elks squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Pacific (Port Orford, OR). The Elks record now stands at 5-7.
