The Permian Panthers topped the visiting Abilene Eagles football team by a final score of 37-17 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Permian improves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Midland (Midland, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 6A Region I District 3 outing on Friday, October 23. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 3-4. Midland lost 59-27 in their recent league outing against San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX)

With the loss, Abilene moves to 5-2 on the season. The Eagles host Midland Lee (Midland, TX) to confront the Rebels in a 6A Region I District 3 outing on Friday, October 23. The Rebels go into the outing with a record of 3-4. Midland Lee won 49-21 in their recent league outing against Odessa (Odessa, TX)
