The Corning Cardinals basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Lassen Grizzlies to 55 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cardinals now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Durham for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 16. Corning will meet a Trojans team coming off a 67-48 non-league loss to Orland (Orland, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-5.

The Grizzlies (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Chester (Chester, CA). The Volcanoes enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Chester ran past Big Valley (Bieber, CA), 66-23, in a non-league contest.
