In Friday's non-league battle, the host Creekview Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Rowlett Eagles.

The Mustangs now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Richland for a non-league test on Saturday, August 20. Creekview will confront a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Heritage (Colleyville, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 6-6.

The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Marcus (Flower Mound, TX). The Marauders enter the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Marcus gained a win over Seven Lakes (Katy, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
