In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Towns County Indians basketball team scored a decisive 78-27 triumph over the Georgia Military College Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Indians confront the Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 28. Towns County will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 8-2 record after their 49-31 non-league win over Holy Innocents Episcopal (Atlanta, GA).

With the defeat, Georgia Military College moves to 8-8 on the year.
