Illinois High School Basketball - Hiawatha knocked off by Paw Paw
December 8, 2017: Kirkland, IL 60146 The Paw Paw Bulldogs basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Hiawatha Hawks to 42 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Henry-Senachwine/Lowpoint-Washburn for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Paw Paw will battle a team coming off a 50-16 league loss to Putnam County (Granville, IL). The record now stands at 0-10.
The Hawks (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Christian (Dixon, IL). The enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Faith Christian ran past Cornerstone Christian Academy (Sycamore, IL), 43-35, in a non-league contest.
