Indiana High School Basketball - Marion tops Fort Wayne South Side

Marion Giants (Marion, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Fort Wayne South Side Archers (Fort Wayne, IN), 76-65 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Marion upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Giants travel to Indianapolis Arsenal Technical (Indianapolis, IN) to play the Titans in a North Central bout on Friday, January 15. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 8-2. Indianapolis Arsenal Technical won 86-56 in their recent league bout against Harrison (West Lafayette, IN)

Next up, the Archers play the Fort Wayne Canterbury Cavaliers (Fort Wayne, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 12. Fort Wayne South Side will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 68-63 non-league win over Clinton Christian (Goshen, IN).
