Arizona High School Basketball - Willow Canyon nudges Shadow Ridge

January 26, 2012: Surprise, AZ 85388

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ) basketball squad edged the host Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ), by a margin of 37-31.

The Wildcats (5-16) will now prepare for their outing against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ). The Tigers go into the I Section I outing with a 18-6 record. In their last outing, Millennium nipped Ironwood (Glendale, AZ), 54-24, in a non-league outing.

The Stallions now own a 5-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wickenburg for a non-league outing on Friday, January 27. Shadow Ridge will encounter a Wranglers squad coming off a 49-37 non-league win over Bagdad (Bagdad, AZ). The Wranglers record now stands at 3-15.
